N. T. Rama Rao Jr. attended Vidyaranya High School in Hyderabad and St. Mary’s College in Hyderabad for his Intermediate education.
Career
Rama Rao made his film debut as a child actor in Brahmarshi Vishwamitra (1991), written and directed by his grandpa N. T. Rama Rao.
He played a guy seeking vengeance on a landlord for the death of his parents in V. V. Vinayak’s first film Aadi (2002).
Puri Jagannadh’s action drama Andhrawala (2004) generated a lot of buzzes but was a box office flop.
Rama Rao took a year off in 2009 to campaign for the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) in the general elections that year.
The vengeance thriller Ramayya Vasthavayya, directed by Harish Shankar, was Rama Rao’s second release in 2013.
In 2015, he appeared in the film Temper, which was directed by Puri Jagannadh.

Rama Rao married Lakshmi Pranathi, the daughter of Narne Srinivasa Rao, a realtor, and businessman.
N. Chandrababu Naidu, who brokered the marriage, is Srinivasa Rao’s niece.
Their wedding was held on May 5, 2011, at the Hitex Exhibition Center in Madhapur, Hyderabad.
They have two sons together.
