Education
Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan in Chennai, Lawrence School in Lovedale, The Hyderabad Public School in Begumpet, and St. Mary’s College in Hyderabad were among his schools.

Career
In 2007, Charan made his feature debut as the starring actor in Puri Jagannadh’s Chirutha, which ran for 50 days in 178 direct movie theatres and 15 relocated movie theatres.
In 2010, Charan played Ram, an NRI residing in Australia, in Bommarillu Bhaskar’s urban romcom Orange.
In 2013, Charan has two movies out. After Magadheera, his first film was Naayak, directed by V. V. Vinayak, in which he played a dual part.
Since mid-May 2015, he has been learning Karate for his part.

Private & early life
On December 1, 2011, Charan married Upasana Kamineni, the vice-chairman of Apollo Charity and the Chief Editor of B Positive magazine.
Following that, they married on June 14, 2012, at Temple Trees Farm House.
Charan and Kamineni were friends till ninth grade in the same school in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, according to an article published by NewsX.
Philanthropy
He frequently conducts blood donation drives. Through the Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust, Charan and his father Chiranjeevi introduced oxygen banks on May 26, 2021. Initially started in the Andhra Pradesh districts of Anantapur and Guntur, they were eventually expanded to other parts of India, including Telangana.
During the second wave of the COVID-19 epidemic in India, these were due to be released owing to a scarcity of oxygen cylinders, ventilators, and concentrators.
