Education
Jackman attended Pymble Public School for elementary school and then Knox Grammar School on Sydney’s Upper North Shore.
In 1987, he took a gap year and worked as a Physical Education teacher at Uppingham School in England.
When he returned to Australia, he enrolled at the University of Technology in Sydney, earning a BA in Communications in 1991.
He attended a theatre course to make up credits in his last year of university. Following his BA, Jackman attended the Actors’ Centre in Sydney for a one-year course called “The Journey.”
Career
In Bryan Singer’s X-Men, Jackman made his debut as Wolverine, a superhero picture based on the Marvel Comics team of the same name.
