Sridhar Vembu was born in 1968, now he is 53 years old.
He belongs to a Tamil family of farmers from a small village in the Thanjavur district, located in Tamil Nadu.
In 1989, he graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras with a bachelor’s degree.
From Princeton University in New Jersey, he got his Ph.D. and MS degrees.
