Shraddha Kapoor attended Jamnabai Narsee School before transferring to the American School of Bombay at the age of 15 when she was classmates with actress Athiya Shetty and actor Tiger Shroff.
Both Kapoor and Shroff acknowledged having a crush on each other in school, but they never proposed to each other.
Kapoor subsequently enrolled at Boston University to study psychology, but she dropped out during her freshman year to star in her first film Teen Patti.

She began her acting career with a small appearance in the 2010 heist thriller Adolescent Patti, taking on the character of a college student.
Kapoor made her debut in Mohit Suri’s romantic musical drama Aashiqui 2, the sequel to the 1990 classic Aashiqui, in 2013.
The film was a huge box office hit, grossing $1.09 billion (US$15 million) worldwide.
Kapoor has established herself as one of India’s most well-known superstars.

Private & early life
Kapoor, who comes from a family of performers, has always wanted to be an actress.
In front of the mirror, she used to rehearse film dialogues and dance to Bollywood music while dressed in her parents’ clothing.
During her childhood, she often accompanied her father to different filming sites.
