Education

After hearing classmate William Aston freestyle over a remixed Chris Brown track, Woods began rapping in 10th grade, considering himself a “normal kid, I didn’t really want to rap.”

Woods dropped out of school and began working at a Dollar Store, but after four days, he left and was ejected from his house by his mother.

As a result of the circumstance, Woods got his first facial tattoo, the word “Faith,” beneath his hairline, prompting him to pursue his rap career more seriously.

Career

In 2010, Woods began rapping and began to collaborate with musical groups such as Steaktown and under the moniker, “Sealab Vertical,” which he claims was “simply for money.”

On January 19, 2014, Woods published his debut project, a Purple Thoughtz Vol. 1 EP.

In August 2015, he was a part of Fall Out Boy and Wiz Khalifa’s “Boys of Zummer” tour. On October 30, 2015, Woods released his second mixtape, Luv Is Rage.

While on tour with the Weeknd, Woods released the EP Luv Is Rage 1.5 on February 27, 2017.

Woods suggested a possible sequel to Lil Uzi Vert vs. The World, dubbed Lil Uzi Vert vs. The World 2, and a cooperation project with Playboi Carti, titled 16*29, in September 2017.

Uzi stated in January 2018 that he has finished a mixtape with record producer Wheezy.

Following label issues with Generation Now, Uzi revealed in April 2019 that he had signed with Roc Nation.

Lil Uzi hinted that the deluxe edition of Eternal Atake, as well as the sequel to his July 2016 mixtape, Lil Uzi Vert vs. the World, dubbed Lil Uzi Vert vs. the World 2, will be released the next day, March 12, 2020, the day fans expected the original album to be released.

Private & early life

From 2014 until 2017, Woods dated fashion designer Brittany Byrd.

When Byrd met Woods, she was a prominent figure among Woods’ supporters, having moved from California to attend Parsons School of Design.

Woods initially mentioned Byrd in the song “Nuyork Nights at 21” from Luv Is Rage, and the designer has since been featured in many songs, including the music video for Woods’ breakout single, “Money Longer.”

The couple split up on June 26, 2017, with Woods revealing the news with a new song called “Stole Your Luv.”

He is presently dating rapper JT of the City Girls, and he has a tattoo on his left hand dedicated to her.

Woods revealed that he is allergic to chocolate in an interview with GQ.

Woods stated he was quitting drugs and trying sobriety after rapper Lil Peep died of an accidental Fentanyl overdose.

Following the assassination of Woods’ buddy, rapper, and musician XXXTentacion, Woods sought support from other rappers on social media to establish a foundation against gun violence that would care for XXXTentacion’s family and future kid.

Controversies

Woods was first accused of being a Satanist by battle rapper Daylyt, who said Woods worshipped the devil. Marilyn Manson’s adoration and backing of Satan, whom he referred to as his greatest inspiration, is thought to have influenced Woods. Woods warned a gathering of admirers in July 2018 that they were “going to hell” with him.

Woods sparked outrage in August 2017 when he posted demonic imagery to his social media accounts and used terms linked with Satanism, such as “666.” Woods routinely promotes Satanism on social media, to the point that his record label took away his Instagram access.
