Vicky Kaushal is an Indian actor who has primarily appeared in Hindi films.

He has won a National Film Award as well as a Filmfare Award.

Following his graduation with an engineering degree, Kaushal worked as an assistant director on Anurag Kashyap’s crime thriller Gangs of Wasseypur in 2012 and went on to play minor roles in two of Kashyap’s films.

Sham Kaushal, a stuntman and later Filmfare Award-winning action director in Hindi films, and Veena Kaushal, a homemaker, gave birth to Kaushal on May 16, 1988 in a suburban chawl in Mumbai.

Sunny, his younger brother, is also an actor.

His ancestors are Punjabi Hindus.

Kaushal has characterized himself as a “normal youngster who liked to study, play cricket, and watch movies.”

Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Technology in Mumbai awarded him an engineering degree in electronics and telecommunications.

Kaushal’s personal life has received a great deal of public interest. Despite his media-friendly demeanor, he has been hesitant about disclosing his personal connections.
