Shad Gregory Moss, popularly known as Bow Wow (previously Lil’ Bow Wow), is a rapper and actor from the United States.

In the late 1990s, he was founded by rapper Snoop Dogg and brought to record producer Jermaine Dupri, who signed him to So So Def Recordings.

At the age of 13, he published his debut album as Lil’ Bow Wow, Beware of Dog, in 2000, followed by Doggy Bag a year later.

Bow Wow made his film debut as a cameo in the 2002 film All About the Benjamins.

Bow Wow made his film debut as the lead in Like Mike the same year.

Shad Gregory Moss, the son of Teresa Rena Caldwell and Alfonso Preston Moss, was born on March 9, 1987, in Columbus, Ohio.

He began interested in rap when he was three years old.

He began rapping recreationally at the age of six, under the alias “Kid Gangsta,” and was a fan of N.W.A at the time.

In 1993, he performed at a performance in Los Angeles, where he was recognized by rapper Snoop Dogg, who gave him the stage moniker “Lil’ Bow Wow.”

In late 1993, he performed on The Arsenio Hall Show and on the Doggystyle album on the track “Gz and Hustlas.”

He also appears in the music video for “Gin & Juice.”
