Hudgens began her career as a vocalist in musical theatre in 1998, appearing in shows such as Carousel, The Wizard of Oz, The King and I, The Music Man, and Cinderella, among others.
Hudgens received her debut acting appearance as Tiffany in an episode of the CBS comedy Still Standing, which aired in 2002. Later that year, she appeared as a guest star in an episode of CBS’s Robbery-Homicide Division. Hudgens made her acting debut in the drama film Thirteen in 2003, like Noel, a supporting part.
