Kuldeep Yadav Biography

Yadav, the son of a brick kiln owner, was born on December 14, 1994, and reared in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.

He mentioned in an interview that it was his father who encouraged him to keep playing cricket and even took him to a coach (Kapil Pandey).

He aspired to be a left-arm seamer after watching Wasim Akram and Zaheer Khan bowl.

His instructor, however, insisted on him becoming a wrist-spin bowler since he was impressed by the turn and variations he was producing unwittingly at the trials because of his small stature.

Since then, he’s been following and studying Shane Warne’s bowling videos, and he’s adopted him as a role model.
