She and her Jewish family escaped Soviet Ukraine to the United States when she was seven years old.
Kunis began her role as Jackie Burkhart on the Fox television series That ’70s Show (1998–2006) when she was 14 years old. She has been the voice of Meg Griffin on the Fox animated sitcom Family Guy since 1999.
In 2008, Kunis made her cinematic debut as Rachel in the romantic comedy Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

Milena Markovna Kunis was born in Chernivtsi, Ukrainian SSR, in the Soviet Union, on August 14, 1983.
Elvira Kunis, her mother, is a physics teacher who also manages a pharmacy, and Mark Kunis, her father, is a mechanical engineer who also drives a taxi. Michael, Kunis’ older brother, is the actor’s older brother.
Her grandparents were survivors of the Holocaust.
Russian is her mother tongue and the language spoken in her family.
Mila asserted in 2011 that her parents had “great careers,” that she “was really lucky,” and that her family was “not impoverished,” and that they had opted to leave the Soviet Union because Mila and her brother had “no future” there.
Her family came to Los Angeles, California, with $250 in 1991, when she was seven years old.

Private & early life
In 2002, Kunis began dating actor Macaulay Culkin.
There were speculations that the two might marry throughout their relationship, but Kunis dismissed them.
“The divorce was amicable, and they remain close friends,” Kunis’ publicist said on January 3, 2011, in response to allegations that Kunis and Culkin had dissolved their relationship.
In April 2012, Kunis began dating her old That ’70s Show co-star Ashton Kutcher.
They were engaged in February 2014 and married in Oak Glen, California on the first weekend of July 2015.
