Career
In 1997, Evans had his first acknowledged appearance in Biodiversity: Wild About Life!, a short instructional video.
He went to Los Angeles in September 2000 and stayed at the Oakwood Apartments in Toluca Lake, where he met other young performers.
In 2001, he featured in Not Another Teen Movie, a teen film spoof in which he played a high school football player.
He starred in The Perfect Score, a teen heist comedy about a gang of kids who sneak into an office to steal SAT exam answers, in 2004.

Philanthropy
Evans is a supporter of Christopher’s Haven, a charity that provides shelter for families whose children have been diagnosed with cancer, and has participated in fundraisers for the organization.
In 2015, he and actor Chris Pratt paid a visit to patients at Seattle Children’s Hospital after making a bet that garnered funds for both the hospital and Christopher’s Haven.
Evans and his Avengers co-stars held a virtual fundraiser in May 2020 to help Feeding America, World Central Kitchen, and No Kid Hungry.
He earned $80,000 for Christopher’s Haven the next year by finishing third in a charity fantasy football contest with his Avengers co-star.
