Ranbir Kapoor was born on September 28, 1982, in Bombay, Maharashtra, to Hindi cinema stars Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh.
He is Prithviraj Kapoor’s great-grandson and actor-director Raj’s grandson.
Riddhima (born 1980), his older sister, is an interior and fashion designer.
His first cousins are the actresses Karisma and Kareena Kapoor.
