Radhakishan Damani was born in January 1954, into an Indian Marwari family. His dad, Shivkishanji Damani, was likewise engaged in share market business. He has a sibling named Gopikishan.
Damani was lived in a single-room property in Mumbai. He considered study at Mumbai University to pursue Bcom but slipped after a year to begin his career in business.

He has acquired 4.91 lakh value equity shares or 1.3% stack of Kalyani Group in BF Utilities during the quarter ended on June 30, 2020, and by his lucky charm, the shares of BF Utilities jumped 10% to Rs. 220.95 on BSE.
As per the latest corporate stake filed, Damani is keeping up more than 20 shares in his portfolio of around Rs. 125,923 crore.
