Controversy
Johar has been chastised for allegedly engaging in nepotism by hiring the offspring of established Bollywood stars in his films and failing to assist newbies.
Kangana Ranaut originally accused Johar of this on Koffee With Karan. The bulk of Bollywood stars did not agree with the remarks. Many others on social media, on the other hand, agreed.
The nepotism controversy against Johar was reignited with the suicide death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who came from a non-film background. Several film critics said Johar harmed Rajput’s career.
