Ravi Shankar Raju Bhupatiraju, better known by his stage name Ravi Teja, is a Telugu cinema actor.
Teja got his first acting role in Krishna Vamsi’s film Sindhooram in 1997, while still working as an assistant director.
In 1999 and 2002, Teja received the Nandi Special Jury Award for his performances in the films Nee Kosam (1999) and Khadgam (2002), and in 2008, he received the Nandi Award for Best Actor for Neninthe.
