Career
Sanjeev quit a job selling Horlicks at HMM (now known as GlaxoSmithKline) in 1990 to start two companies with a partner, Landmark and Info Edge.
The first focused on pharmaceutical trademarks, while the second specialized on pay surveys and reports.
Infoedge extended its website business by launching other classified pages such as Jeevansathi for matrimony, Shiksha for college, and 99acres for real estate.
He and his wife agreed to part ways in 1993. Each of the partners received its own company.
Info Edge was given to Sanjeev. Bikhchandani founded Naukri.com, a worksite hosted on a server in the United States, in 1997, and Quadrangle, an offline executive recruitment company, in 1998. Naukri.com was claimed to be India’s biggest web-based job site in 2005.
He’s already a savvy trader, having backed unicorns such as Policybazaar and Zomato.
In addition, he is a founder of FYI’s ‘Vision Circle,’ a shark tank with social projects available only to high school students.
